"The Good Ole Boys"

Fremont Rescue Squad was organized at the Fremont
Medical Clinic on March 12, 1964 with 28 original
applications for membership.  The first "official" meeting
was held at Fremont High School on March 17, 1964 and
training volunteers began.  They were deemed the
"Fremont Rescuemen"

Enthusiasm was high and rapid progress was made but
little could be done without a vehicle.

That need was filled on March 25, 1964 when a 1963
Cadillac ambulance was presented to the squad on
behalf of the Goldsboro Rescue Squad by
Captain Paul Rose.
Services began immediately!

THANKS
GOLDSBORO RESCUE!

AND THANK YOU
"FREMONT RESCUEMEN"
FOR YOUR HARD WORK, DEDICATION,  AND
PERSEVERANCE.
